Fire Calls
During the month of August, the Fire Department responded to 19 service
calls, smoke scares, CO alarm malfunctions or recreational fire complaint calls. Also during
August, 10 hazardous conditions and 36 false alarms were reported. In addition,
firefighter/paramedics responded to 286 medical calls and two elevator rescues.
